I am a senior software engineer with 12 years of experience, working remotely for the last five years across US-based teams. My core stack is Laravel and PHP on the back end with React and Vue on the front. - Ramped to become one of the primary contributors within months, working across a large domain-driven, extensively tested codebase without a long onboarding.
- Built the real-time broadcast layer covering 17 board-mutating scheduler actions, so every placement change fans out over Reverb WebSockets and each open board stays live without a refresh.
- Shipped the no-show detection and escalation engine, turning missed-pickup deadlines into automatic, timed escalations instead of manual follow-up.
- Implemented Child Find special-education referrals with a full audit trail, meeting the compliance requirement that every referral decision stays traceable.
4.5 years at Pfizer (Solutions Architect)
Owned architecture and delivery on Canvas, Pfizer's global content-management platform, across a 4.5-year engagement.
- Set and enforced the platform code-review standard, holding the review bar across squads for the length of the engagement so changes shipped consistently without a single-reviewer bottleneck.
- Drove test coverage as a delivery gate, sustaining test-first discipline in PHPUnit and Pest suites that let the team refactor data-heavy Canvas modules without regressions.
- Migrated the primary content store to Couchbase, a sustained datastore and search track, keeping the platform online.
- Integrated enterprise SSO spanning OIDC, SAML, OAuth 2, and JWT, sustained auth and security work across the engagement.
Breadth
Founded Traxelio, a GPS fleet-tracking SaaS, and shipped native iOS and Android apps end to end. Earlier engineering roles span Laravel, .NET / C#, Kotlin / Android, Vue.js, and Node / TypeScript across Senegal and Canada.
