Senior Full-Stack Laravel + Vue Engineer
Balanced full-stack delivery: Laravel and PHP on the back end, Vue on the front, front to back as one piece.
I am a genuinely balanced full-stack engineer, not a back-end developer who tolerates the front end or the reverse. Laravel runs through virtually all of five years of client delivery, and Vue carried the front end for the large majority of that same work, from Pfizer's enterprise Canvas platform to client delivery at Kirschbaum. I have run remote contract engagements for the last five years. Because I own both sides, I design an API and the interface that consumes it as one coherent piece.
Full-stack Laravel and Vue at enterprise scale
On Canvas, Pfizer's global content-management platform (a 4.5-year engagement), I delivered across the whole stack.
- Delivered UI features and back-end services on Canvas Core, the shared platform other Pfizer product squads build on.
- Set and enforced the platform code-review standard, holding the review bar across squads for the length of the engagement so changes shipped consistently without a single-reviewer bottleneck.
- Drove test coverage as a delivery gate, sustaining test-first discipline in PHPUnit and Pest suites that let the team refactor data-heavy Canvas modules without regressions.
- Migrated the primary content store to Couchbase, a sustained datastore and search track that moved lookups onto a document model built for them while keeping the platform online.
- Integrated enterprise SSO spanning OIDC, SAML, OAuth 2, and JWT, sustained auth and security work across the engagement, so Pfizer identity providers authenticated against Canvas without per-app auth.
Full-stack lead on client platforms
As Lead Application Developer at Kirschbaum Development Group:
- Deliver client platforms end to end as a Laravel and Vue full-stack lead, from architecture through code review to deploy, currently on the K-12 education platform.
- Build and maintain internal Portal tooling on Filament and Livewire that supports agency delivery across client projects.
Architecture and TDD foundations
As CTO and Chief Architect across FreshinUp and Envision2bWell:
- Rebuilt the application architecture from the ground up into modular, reusable Laravel packages (a monorepo of shared atoms and molecules), so client projects composed features instead of rewriting them.
- Introduced TDD as the team's default workflow, building RESTful APIs test-first so the front end and other microservices ran against a stable contract.
- Migrated the platform from Laravel 5.8 to 8.x, clearing years of framework debt without halting delivery.
