Respect for Consistent Creators

My respect for people who post all the time has gone up. It’s not easy. I tried it as a challenge for myself could I do it, would I enjoy it, how long could I keep it up? It pushed me outside of my comfort zone. Watching yourself on video feels cringe, but it’s part of the process.

Why Effort Doesn’t Equal Results

Funny enough, the videos I spend hours editing often flop. Meanwhile, the one I record in a few seconds with no edits can blow up. That taught me something: effort doesn’t guarantee results. Sometimes, simplicity wins.

Recording on the Spot vs Over-Editing

At first, I scheduled time in the day to record. Now I just do it on the spot. If I have a thought, I record and post right away. Later, if I have time, I add captions for SEO. This way the content flows naturally, and the algorithm still knows how to push it to the right people.

SEO, Captions, and Reach

Captions matter for search, but I realized the For You Page already does a lot. Adding captions later just helps people find my videos when they search. The important thing is to get the content out, not wait for perfection.

Vanity Metrics vs Real Value

A lot of people chase views and likes. But those are vanity metrics. What matters is whether your content delivers value. Do people comment? Do you build a small community? If it’s for business, are you getting leads? That’s more important than numbers that only feed your ego.
