Every business runs on the same flow: order → payment → fulfillment. It’s no different from a restaurant menu. Customers pick items, pay, and get served. For me, that means GPS devices, subscriptions, and renewals all triggered the moment payment is confirmed.

Why Every Product Is Like a Restaurant
Think of your business like a restaurant. Customers browse the menu, choose what they want, and expect service once they pay. The same applies to software and services every order is just a list of items waiting to be fulfilled.
Order Creation: Items and Totals
It starts at the product detail page. Customers see the product, features, and price. When they decide to buy, they create an order with different items just like meals, appetizers, and drinks. At the end, it all adds up to a total amount.
Payment Intent and Confirmation
Before sending the customer to the payment provider, the system saves the order and marks the payment as pending. Once the provider confirms payment, the status updates to completed. That’s the signal to move forward.
Triggering Fulfillment
After payment confirmation, fulfillment kicks in. For me, it means preparing and delivering GPS devices, activating them, and making sure they’re trackable inside the app. Each order triggers the right workflow automatically.
SaaS Twist: Subscriptions and Renewals
Because it’s SaaS, every order also comes with a subscription end date. That date sets the cycle for renewals. Customers get ongoing value, and I get predictable recurring revenue. It’s the same flow just with the added layer of time.
